The interactive exhibition on the subject of ‘Egon Schiele in private’ allows us to immerse ourselves in the life of the artist. With the help of audiovisual media, you can experience original interviews by Schiele researcher Alessandra Comini with Melanie and Gerti Schiel (Schiele's sisters).

A new section in the permanent exhibition tells the story of Anton Peschka, himself an artist, friend and brother-in-law, and in the treasure chamber you can gain rare insights into Schiele's self-portrayals. The artist sees himself in the most diverse manifestations, his works thematise his own fragility, physicality and sexuality.

Egon Schiele the man will be at the centre of the guided tour, giving you a very personal encounter with the artist.
